Questions before you book
Use this page if you have a question before booking, need to change an appointment, or want to check whether the practice handles your situation.
How to reach us
Email is the most reliable way to get a reply, and messages are answered within one working day. If your question is about an existing appointment, reply to your confirmation email so the thread stays together.
For a new enquiry, use the address below or the message field further down this page. There is no walk-in clinic, so arriving in person without a confirmed appointment will not reach us.

Before you write
A useful message from a visitor in Malta usually answers three things up front. You do not need to send medical documents at this stage, and nothing you write here replaces advice from your own doctor.
Who you are
Your name and status
Give your name and say whether you are already a client of the practice. If you are, you can skip the introduction and go straight to the question.
What it concerns
The general topic
One line on what the question is about is enough — eating habits, a weekly routine you want help structuring, or a goal you are working towards.
Why you ask
If it is condition-specific
If the question is about whether the practice can help with a particular condition, mention it briefly so the reply can be useful rather than generic.
Booking versus contacting
If you already know you want an appointment, the booking form is faster because it collects the details needed to confirm a time. Two minutes on that form saves an email exchange about mornings, evenings and time zones.
The contact route is for questions, not for holding a slot. Sending a question here and a booking request there is fine, but one or the other usually gets you a quicker answer — and a slot is only reserved once the booking confirmation arrives by email.
If you are unsure whether the practice is a good fit, write first. If you already know your goal, book the consultation and use the notes field to explain it.
Pick the route
- Book a consultation when you want a time confirmed and the video link sent to you.
- Send a question when you need an answer before deciding anything.
- Reply to your confirmation email when the question is about an appointment you already have.
Location and format
The practice works with clients across Malta and Gozo, and consultations are held online by video. There is no walk-in clinic.
If a face-to-face session is arranged, the address and time are confirmed in writing beforehand. Anything without that written confirmation is not a booked session.
Where
Clients join from home, work or anywhere with a quiet room and a stable connection.
How
Sessions run by video call. The invitation link arrives with your appointment confirmation.
In person
Arranged only when it makes sense, and always confirmed in writing first.
Send a question about nutrition in Malta
Write to the practice desk and you will get a reply on the next working day. Keep it short: your name, whether you are already a client, and what the question is about.
Please do not send medical documents at this stage. If your question needs them, you will be told when the answer requires it.

Response times
Messages are read on working days, Monday to Friday. Weekend messages are answered on the next working day.
If you have not heard back within two working days, send a short follow-up in case the first message went astray. Forward your own message rather than writing a new one — the context travels with it.
When to expect a reply
- Sent Monday to Friday — answered within one working day.
- Sent on Saturday or Sunday — answered on the next working day.
- No reply after two working days — send a short follow-up.
Urgent matters
This contact route is not monitored around the clock. It is a booking desk, not a medical service line, and no answer here should be treated as urgent care.
For urgent medical concerns, contact your GP, go to the nearest health centre, or call the emergency number. Do not wait on an email reply here.
Finding the practice address in Sliema
Written address
22 Triq ir-Repubblika, Valletta VLT 1115, Malta
This address is the practice's postal and correspondence point. Consultations themselves are held online, so a visit is only ever possible after a face-to-face session has been confirmed in writing.
Directions by bus and on foot are simple from the Sliema ferries and the seafront promenade. If you are driving, allow extra time in the morning around the school run.

Questions people ask before writing
Frequently Asked QuestionsI wrote last week and have not heard back. What now?
Send a short follow-up and forward your original message with it. Replies go out within one working day on weekdays, so a message sent on Friday evening will be answered on the next working day at the earliest.
Can I ask a question and book at the same time?
Yes, and it is often the quickest route. Put the question in the notes field of the booking form so the answer and the appointment arrive together, and mention anything the consultation should prepare for.
I live on Gozo. Is the practice open to me?
Yes. Consultations run online by video, so the crossing is not part of the process. Mention your usual routine and the times that suit you when you book, and the appointment will be arranged around that.
Do I need to send test results or a diet diary with my question?
No. Keep the first message plain and short. If documents would genuinely help the answer, you will be asked for them, and the request will say exactly what to send and how.
Can I cancel or move a confirmed appointment here?
Reply to your confirmation email and say what needs to change. Keeping it in that thread means the appointment record stays in one place and nothing about your booking is lost between messages.
Still unsure which route fits? The Consultation Process page explains what happens from the first message to the follow-up.
One question, or one appointment
Send your question using the form above and the practice desk will answer on the next working day. If you would rather have a time in the diary, book the consultation and put your question in the notes field — that route collects everything needed to confirm.
