Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using this website and for requesting a consultation through it. By using the site, you accept them.

What these terms cover

This page is the agreement between you and Diet Consultant Scheduler about how the website works. It explains what the site is for, how a booking request turns into a real appointment, how payment is handled, and what each side is responsible for.

Reading it takes a few minutes. If one section matters more to you than the rest — usually payment or cancellations — the index alongside jumps straight there.

What this website is

Diet Consultant Scheduler is an information and booking website. It explains what an online nutrition consultation involves, describes the kind of guidance the practice provides, and lets you send a request for an appointment. Nothing more is claimed for it, and nothing here should be read as a clinical service delivered by the website itself.

Browsing the site, reading the guidance pages, or sending a booking request does not create a practitioner-client relationship. That relationship begins only after the practice confirms an appointment in writing and you accept the terms stated at confirmation. Until then you are simply a visitor using a public website.

No medical advice

Everything published on this site, including any nutrition guidance pages, is general information written for a general reader. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a treatment plan for your particular situation, and it does not replace care from your doctor or another qualified medical professional.

If you have a medical condition, take prescribed medication, are pregnant, or are managing an eating disorder, speak to your treating clinician first. Where an online consultation is not the right setting for your needs, the practice may say so and point you elsewhere rather than proceed.

Urgent symptoms, chest pain, severe allergic reactions or sudden changes in health are not something this website can help with. Contact emergency services or your doctor without delay.

Booking requests and payment

A booking request is exactly that — a request. It reaches the practice as a message, not as a confirmed appointment, and it does not reserve a slot in the calendar by itself.

You send the request from a booking or contact page, describing briefly what you would like help with and leaving a way to reply.

The practice replies with a proposed time, the length of the session, the fee and how payment is arranged.

You accept in writing. Only at that point does an appointment exist between you and the practice.

Payment method

Payment is arranged by bank transfer, or in person where a face-to-face session is agreed. The practice confirms which applies before the appointment.

Card details

No card details are collected through this website. No payment form is hosted here, and you are never asked to enter card numbers on these pages.

What is confirmed

Fees, session length and payment method are stated in the confirmation the practice sends you, so you always know the terms before the session starts.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Plans change, and moving a session is normal. Do it early, in writing, and the practice can usually offer another slot without difficulty.

How to ask

Reply to the confirmation email you received. That thread already carries your appointment details, so the request is unambiguous and quick to process.

Late cancellations

The conditions that apply to a late cancellation are stated in your confirmation, together with how they are handled. They are set before you commit to the session.

If the practice moves it

If the practice has to move a confirmed appointment, you are told in writing and offered the next available alternative. You are never charged for a slot the practice releases.

Your responsibilities

The usefulness of a consultation depends on what you bring to it. You agree to give accurate information about your health, your medications and any allergies, to the extent that they are relevant to the session.

Withholding information that matters can affect the guidance you receive, and the practice cannot answer for advice built on an incomplete picture. When in doubt, share it — the practice treats what you disclose as confidential.

  • Tell the practice about prescribed medication, supplements and diagnosed conditions before the session.

  • Name any food allergies or intolerances, even ones you think are minor or already known.

  • Keep any guidance from your doctor in view. Nutrition guidance sits alongside medical treatment, it does not replace it.

  • Use the website honestly — do not submit requests on behalf of someone else without their knowledge, or misuse the contact details published here.

Intellectual property

The text, layout and materials published on this site belong to the practice. You are welcome to read them, save them for your own use, or quote short passages with a link back. Reproducing substantial parts commercially, or republishing them as your own, needs permission from the practice first.

Limitation of liability

The practice is not liable for decisions you take on the basis of general information published on this website, because that information was not written for your individual circumstances. Guidance given in a consultation is provided in good faith and based on the information you supply during that consultation.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the website and the booking process change. The version published on this page is the current one, and it replaces earlier versions from the moment it goes live. If a change affects how appointments are confirmed, paid for or cancelled, it will not apply to an appointment that was already confirmed before the change.

There is no need to check back regularly. If you have a session booked, the terms that applied when it was confirmed continue to govern that booking.

Questions about these terms

Write to the practice

Questions about this terms of service page, about what a consultation includes, or about anything stated at confirmation are answered by email. Include your appointment reference if you already have one — it saves a round trip.
